Novox® is a novel product which was developed by Italian company, Moss, as a result of the need for a wound care solution that would deliver the required amount of oxygen for effective wound healing but not increase antimicrobial resistance.
Novox® is a natural, biocompatible oil-based class IIb Medical Device that offers improved wound care outcomes through the delivery of Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) while reducing bacterial load through the creation of a micro-environment which discourages microbial proliferation.
Novox® comes in a range of anatomically-specific products which have been saturated with Novox gel to deliver Reactive Oxygen Species directly to the wound bed.
The following 5 products are currently available in the range:
Novox® – a oil-based wound care treatment that comes in a pre-filled 5ml syringe for the treatment of pressure ulcers, fistulas, traumatic wounds and post-surgical scars.
