SecurBiop is based on a patented “closed system” technology, that prevents any kind of contact – direct or indirect (vapours) – with the formalin used to fix histology specimens.
SecurBiop containers are prefilled with formalin, with an advanced ‘closed system’ technology, providing the safest and most efficient way to collect, transport and store biopsy specimens.
By pre-filling formalin in the cap and sealing it with an aluminium membrane, healthcare providers are not exposed to the chemical contained within. Once the specimen is collected and the cap is screwed onto the container the formalin will automatically flow down from the cap and ‘fix’ the biopsy specimen.
